At Zoo Duisburg, our focus is on the welfare of the animals. Our knowledge of the animal world is constantly evolving. It is an on-going challenge to offer the animals the best possible environment under optimal conditions. With this goal in mind, we are in a continuous process of development. In order to express these demanding requirements in a comprehensible and transparent way, we have developed a mission statement. This mission statement forms the basis of our daily actions and makes our zoo fit for the future. In addition to animal welfare, our focus is also on the satisfaction of our zoo visitors and on the sustainable experience of a visit to Zoo Duisburg.
